BUILDING REDEVELOPMENT - Building for the future
The current Manly Life Saving Club building was constructed in 1982 and was only built to satisfy the 1982 needs of the Club.
Over the past twenty seven years, Club membership has grown substantially, as has the amount of equipment needed to fulfil the Club's key roles – rescue services and training, and youth education and development.
Accordingly, Manly Life Saving Club's ability to grow in community service has passed the limits imposed by the current building...
Progress needs to be made quickly if we are to maintain and improve the standards we set for surf life saving in the broader community.
